This is a an O27 Automatic Crossing Gate and Signal from Lionel.
It's for ages 8 to adult.
Place this item at any grade crossing on an O27 model railroad. As the
train approaches, red lights flash and the gate drops automatically to halt
traffic. After the train passes, the lights stop flashing and the gate returns
to the raised position.
FEATURES: Highly realistic train contraption resembles any typical train
crossing gate and signal on any road in America.
Long gate is white with red stripes, while the Railroad Crossing sign
is black with red lights.
Automatic gate and signal operates between 10-14 volts alternating
current and uses a 153C contactor, which is a single pole, double-
throw electrical switch that is activated by the weight of a
passing train.
Included contactor may be attached to any straight section of track.
Insulated track section (available separately) can also activate the
automatic gate and signal. Refer to instructions.
Service policy, service centers, and limited one year warranty
are all included within packaging.
