This is a 1:35 M51 Super Sherman Medium Tank from Academy Plastics.
It's for experienced modelers.
The Sherman tank was the most widely used allied tank of WWII. The M4A1
was an improved version introduced in 1944 and carried a 76mm main gun. In
1956, France delivered 100 M4A1s to Israel who upgraded them substantially.
Eventually, even the upgraded Shermans were outclassed by newer Soviet tank
models and the Israeli's again improved the basic M4A1 to create the M51 Super
Sherman. This tank featured a 105mm gun, a new 460hp Cummins diesel engine,
and modifications to the tracks and suspension.
