   This is a 1/48 MiG-21PF Fishbed D Plastic Model Kit from Academy Plastics.
                        It's for experienced modelers.

    The MiG-21 Fishbed series has been one of the most produced and widely used
jet fighter aircraft ever.  The MiG-21 has good flight performance which is
only hampered by its relatively short range.  Nevertheless, the simplicity of
the type's systems and construction has made it popular with the allies and
satellites of the former Soviet Union.  The MiG-21PF was an uprated version of
the MiG-21F with a larger air intake and nose cone for the R1L "Spin-Scan"
radar, as well as equipment to allow all-weather operations.

FEATURES: 1/48th scale for static display only.
          142 parts in light grey and clear with fine recessed panel lines.
          Detailed cockpit with 5 part ejection seat, console and instrument
            panel detail, control stick and rudder pedals.
          Detailed wheel wells and landing gear including gear door linkages.
          Optional position canopy, flaps, and speed brake.
          Ordnance:  K-13(AA-2) Atoll missiles, UB-32 and UB-16 Rocket Pods,
            130gal drop tanks, and GP-9 23mm Cannon Pod.
