The Bristol Beaufighter was a large twin engined heavy fighter powered
mainly by twin Hercules radial engines. The type served in all theatres
of WWII and was nicknamed "Whispering Death" by the Japanese. The TF X variant
could carry a single torpedo or 8 rockets and was highly effective against
enemy shipping.
