This is a 1/48 Scale Spitfire Mk.IXc Plastic Model Kit
from Hasegawa Hobby Kits.
The Mk.IX was built around a slightly modified Mk.Vc and powered
by the Merlin 61 engine. These models included the low altitude "LF", the
mid-altitude "F" and the high altitude "HF". While earlier models were fitted
out with the Spit "C" wing armament layout, the latter half of the production
run was fitted out with the "E" wing layout.
FEATURES: 101 medium grey plastic pieces molded to sprue trees.
Clear pieces for canopy included.
Single seat cockpit.
Recessed panel lines give authentic look.
Detailed cockpit and landing gear.
