This is a 1/72 U.S. Navy Blue Angels FA-18 Hornet Aircraft from Minicraft
Model Kits. It's a skill level 2 model for ages 10 and up.
When the Blue Angels transitioned in 1987 from the tiny little Douglas A-4
Skyhawk to the enormous F-18A Hornet, many knowledgeable people questioned
whether the pilots could fly such intricate maneuvers in such a large and
powerful aircraft. Not only could the squadron pilots perform the usual crowd
pleasing stunts, they were able to enhance the performance. Since 1987, it is
estimated that hundreds of millions of spectators have seen the Blue Angels
perform at air shows around the world.
FEATURES: Plastic parts molded in blue, plus a clear piece for canopy.
Detailed cockpit includes a seat, headrest, seat pad, control stick,
