  This is a 1/72 Plastic Consolidated B-24J Liberator "The Dragon & His Tail"
     Model Kit from Minicraft Models.  It's rated skill level 2 and is not
                 suitable for children under 36 months of age.

     According to legend, the dragon was a mythical monster that could breath
fire and represented evil.  To the Japanese, however, the dragon is a religious
symbol.  Joseph Pagani and his crew from the 43rd Bomb Group, 5th Air Force,
Chose the dragon to decorate their B-24J.  The only full fuselage length
decoration recorded, it featured a huge dragon holding a nude female and was
named, "The Dragon and his Tail."  This design became a classic of aviation
art.  Obviously chosen to antagonize the Japanese, Pagani reported that during
normal bombing missions the Dragon was always the center of attention from the
Japanese pilots.

          Exterior surface of plane is complete with metal seams, bolt heads,
            and hatches.
          Detailed cockpit with seats, gauges, and controls.
          Fuselage surface machine guns encapsulated in a clear plastic canopy.
          Front and rear machine gun bulbs.
          Interior fuselage of the plane is loaded with bomb racks.
          Clear plastic canopy allows inspection of interior.
          Detailed engine assemblies bring the craft to life.
          Landing gear system is faithful to the real plane.
          Modelers have the option of opening the bomb-bay door.
          "The Dragon and his Tail" decals included.
          Detailed pictorial instructions guide you through assembly.
