       This is a 1/48 Scale Messerschmitt Me262 A-2a w/Kettenkraftrad
                          Plastic Model Kit from Tamiya.

     The Me262 A-2a was the fighter/bomber version of the Me262. In June 1944,
deployment of the A-2a began. The A-2a was equipped with only two 30mm MK108
guns, but had an extra fuel tank in the rear parts of its fuselage and could
carry up to a 1-ton payload of bombs. The Me262 A-2a would see active service
until the end of World War II.

FEATURES: Medium grey plastic pieces molded to sprue trees.
          Clear pieces for canopy included.
          Single seat cockpit.
          Recessed panel lines give authentic look.
          Cannon inspection hatch can be assembled in open or closed position.
          30mm MK108 cannons are recreated down to the smallest detail.
          Canopy can be assembled in open or closed position.
          Includes pilot figure who sits in the cockpit, peering out to check
            the plane's forward progress.
          Includes protective cover attached to the underwing engine to prevent
            debris from being sucked into the air intake.
          Front landing gear constructed of diecast aluminum acts as a counter-
            weight.
          Underside features 250kg bombs and take-off assist rockets.
          Includes two ground crew figures.
          A 1:48 scale Kettendraftrad (half-track motorcycle) tows the plane.
          Detailed pictorial instructions.
