This is a 1/700 Scale Japanese Heavy Cruiser Suzuya Plastic Model Kit
from the Water Line Series by Tamiya.
The third of four Mogami Class Cruisers to be equipped with five 15.5cm
triple guns, and built with a massive 8500 tons standard displacement, was the
Suzuya, completed in October 1937 at the Mitsubishi Shipyards in Nagasaki. The
Suzuya was sunk at the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October of 1944.
