Tech Notes

This is a strong and reliable ball joint and is probably the easiest to install
unhook, and adjust.  The quick-release locking sleeve with its glass filled
nylon socket locks the ball securely and eliminates play.  Yet is allows a
range of off-axis motion and pivots freely.  It can't vibrate or wear loose
either.  And the ball is constructed of nicked plated steel for extra strength.
