             This is a 1/35 German Howitzer Wespe Tank from Tamiya.

     The Wespe was a 10.5cm howitzer mounted on a Panzer II chassis.  It was
developed as a stopgap measure to counter the superior Soviet tanks.  The crew
was five and it could carry 32 rounds of ammunition.

FEATURES: Detailed assembly and painting instructions included.
          WWII German self-propelled howitzer tank.
          Highly detailed 1/35th scale plastic kit for static display.
          Over 190 parts in tan plastic with single piece rubber tracks.
          Fully detailed 10.5cm howitzer with elevation and traverse mechanism,
            muzzle brake, breech, and gun barrel.
          Detailed gun compartment with ammunition storage lockers, radio and
            armour.
          Exterior details include headlights, tools, positionable hatches and
            muffler.
          Chassis has separate suspension arms and detailed road and idler
            wheels.
          2 crew figures in winter dress are included.
          Designation: Ie FH18/2 auf GW II (Sd.Kfz.124).

MARKING
OPTIONS:  Single small sheet of Tamiya decals with markings for three vehicles:
            1: Paris, France, 1943 - Dk Green camoflage stripes over Dk Grey
               base.
            2: "Gross Deutschland" July 1943 - Dk Green over Dk Yellow camo.
               pattern.
            3: Normandy, 1944 - 3 tone Dk Yellow/Red Brown/Dk Green camouflage.
          Additional paints Required:
            Flat: Black, White, Red, Brown, Flesh, RLM Grey, Dk Sea Grey,
            Metallic Grey, Field Grey.
