     This is a Plastic 1/48 Ki-84-IA Hayate Frank Airplane Kit from Tamiya.

     It's a single engine, single seat, Japanese Army fighter powered by an 18
cylinder HA-45 Hoshi engine.  The Hayate proved highly effective when
intercepting American B-29's bombing the Japanese mainland.

FEATURES: Detailed 1/48th scale plastic kit for static display.
          Markings included for 4 different aircraft.
          Appx. 50 parts in light grey and clear with raised and recessed panel
            lines.
          Detailed Hoshi engine and cowling, wheel wells and main landing gear.
          Four blade prop can be made to rotate.
          Cockpit detail: seat, cockpit tub, rear bulkhead, sidewalls, decal
            for instrument faces, and seated pilot figure.
          Fuselage drop tank included.
          Allied code name "Frank".

MARKING
OPTIONS:  Single sheet of decals contains aircraft code letters, serial
            numbers, national insignia, stencils, and cockpit instruments for
            four aircraft:
          1: SSgt Naito, 502 Temporary Interception Corps, Nakatsu, 1945.
          2: 2nd Squadron, 11th Air Fleet, Philippines, 1944.
             A&B Top: IJA Dk Green w/ Black anti-glare panel; Bottom: IJA Lt
             Grey.
          3: 104th Air Group, Anshan, Manchuria, 1945.
             Overall natural aluminum finish with black anti-glare panel.
          4: 58th Shimbu Unit, Special Attack Corps, Okinawa.
             Top: IJA Dark Green; Bottom: IJA Light Grey
          NOTE: Kit includes 8x10 side views in color to help with painting.
