   This is a Plastic 1/48 WWII Supermarine Spitfire Vb Airplane from Tamiya.

The Supermarine Spitfire Vb was introduced into service in 1941 and represented
the first of many major upgrades to maintain the fighter's ascendency over its
adversaries, which, in this time frame, was primarily the Messerschmitt Bf109.
This Tamiya kit of the Spitfire Vb depicts an aircraft equipped for service in
North Africa and includes both types of special air filters used to keep sand
out of the Merlin engine in the harsh desert environment.
High quality water activated decals are included for three aircraft.

FEATURES: Highly detailed 1/48th scale plastic kit for static display.
          Approx 50 parts in tan and clear with fine recessed panel lines.
          Accurately captures features of Mk Vb: spinner, armament, exhaust
            stubs.
          Multi-part canopy may be posed open or closed.
          Wheels have separate hubs; both solid and open style hubs included.
          Highly detailed cockpit with accurate instrument panel, seat, control
            stick and rudder pedals, bulkheads, and sculpted pilot figure.
          Includes Vokes and Aboukir tropical air filters.

          and stencils, other sheet has code letters and white backgrounds for
          national markings.
