This is a Plastic 1/48 Mitsubishi G4M Airplane from Tamiya.
When the Japanese Navy needed a new land-based attack bomber they issued a
specification for an aircraft with extremely long range. The result was the
Mitsubishi G4M - allied code name "Betty." The Betty was quite fast and could
fly over 2600 miles without refueling. The downside was that the aircraft was
extremely vulnerable to attack because there was little armour protection for
the crew, engines, and especially the fuel tanks. Allied fighter pilots
nicknamed it the "One-shot Lighter." Tamiya's 1/48th scale kit of the Betty
represents an early version, the G4M1, and can be built in standard bomber or
torpedo bomber configurations. The huge kit accurately captures the high
aspect ratio wings and fat cylindrical which were characteristics of
this aircraft. This kit includes InvisaClear decals by Superscale with
markings for six different aircraft
