  This is a 1/48 Plastic WWII Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI Airplane from Tamiya.

     It was one of the first radar equipped nightfighters used in the defense
of Britain; used in ground attack and close air support and anti-shipping
missions.

FEATURES: Twin radial engined, heavily armed fighter aircraft with a crew of
            two.
          Highly detailed 1/48th scale plastic kit for static display.
          Markings included for 3 different aircraft.
          Approximately 100 parts in light grey and clear with fine recessed
            panel lines.
          Optional parts for radar equipped night fighter and rocket armed
            fighter-bomber including different observer's clear blister.
          Interior detail includes cockpit, observer/gunners seat and
            instruments, fuselage rib and stringer detail.
          Cockpit detail includes instrument panel with decal for instrument
            faces, seat with seatbelt decal, control stick and side consoles.
          Detailed Bristol Hercules sleeve valve engines with poly bushing
            which allows props to spin and be added after the kit has been
            assembled and painted avoiding breakage.
          Detailed landing gear with enclosed wheel wells.
          1670hp Bristol Hercules engines, 12 degree tailplane dihedral to
            improve stability.

MARKING
OPTIONS:  Single sheet of InvisaClear decals contains aircraft code letters,
            serial numbers, national insignia, stencils, cockpit instruments,
            and seat belts.  Invisa-Clear decals by Superscale are made using a
            special process which ensures that a minimum amount of clear film
            surrounds the coloured part of the decal.  Three aircraft:
          1: A/C No. T9068, Code "o V", 272 Squadron, Malta, 1942.
             Upper Surfaces: Dk Earth/Mid Stone Camouflage Striping.
             Lower Surfaces: Azure Blue.
          2: A/C No. V8748, Code "ZJ o R", 96 Squadron, Scotland, 1943.
             Upper Surfaces: Dk Green/Medium Sea Grey camoflage striping
             Lower Surfaces: Medium Sea Grey.
          3: A/C No. X8023, Code "I o BQ", 600 Squadron (nightfighter).
             Overall: Night Black.
          Additional paints Required:
            Flat Colors: Black, White, Yellow, Green, Copper, Brown, Flesh,
            Medium Blue, Sky Grey, Sky, Khaki, Field Blue, and Earth.
            Gloss Colors: Red, Gun Metal, Silver, Purple, Clear Green, and
            Clear Red.
