     This is a 1/48 Nieuport Type 17C.1 Plastic Airplane Kit from Testors.
    It's designed for intermediate to experienced modelers ages 10 and over.

     Affectionately known as "vee strutters," Nieuports were responsible for
the end of German dominance of the skies over France.  The plane was held in
high esteem by its pilots and was flown by famous air aces Albert Ball and
Billy Bishop.

FEATURES: 23 highly detailed injection molded plastic parts.
          Solid one-piece upper and lower wings feature built-in dihedral
            angles and strut sockets.
          A 30 caliber Lewis machine mounts atop the upper wing.
          A Vickers 30 caliber is positioned on top of the fuselage.
          Turning propeller.
          Helmeted pilot figure sits in the cockpit.
          Authentic waterslide decals.
          Detailed pictorial instructions include information on weathering
            and other fine detailing techniques.
