This is a 1/48 Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter Plastic Jet Aircraft Kit.
Prototype Information: Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter
The F-5A Freedom Fighter was developed by Northrop in the 1950's as a
lightweight supersonic fighter aircraft. Despite outstanding performance for
such a small airframe, the F-5 was not purchased in large quantities by the
US, but it proved popular on the export market being much cheaper and simpler
than other contemporaries such as the F-104 Starfighter and F-4 Phantom.
FEATURES: 1/48th scale for static display only
64 parts in light grey and clear with raised panel lines
Optional position canopy, landing gear, and speed brakes
Cockpit detail: 1-piece seat and pilot figure plus instrument
panel w/ decal
Ordnance includes: Sidewinders, Bombs, and Air-to-Ground missiles
