           This is a 1/32 Lockheed YF-22 Plastic Jet Aircraft Kit.

Prototype Information:
   The YF-22 was developed through a partnership between Lockheed and Boeing as
 their entry in the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition.  Despite stiff
 competition from the other entry, the Northrop-McDonnell-Douglas YF-23, the
 YF-22 won the fly-off and was selected as the USAF's next generation fighter.
 The YF-22 has outstanding maneuverability and can cruise at supersonic speeds
 without using its afterburners.  It will begin replacing F-15's and F-16's
 early in the next century.

FEATURES: 1/32nd scale for static display - Skill level 2 for ages 10+
          86 parts in light grey and clear with delicate raised panel lines
          Accurately reproduced intakes, and low heat signature exhaust nozzles
          Cockpit detail: control yoke, instrument panel, 3-part ACES II seat
          Detailed landing gear bays and gear strut assemblies
          One belly weapons bay may be posed open to display AMRAAM and
            launcher rail
          Canopy, speed brake and refuelling receptacle may be
            posed open or closed
          One Sidewinder bay may be posed open to display missile and
            launcher rail
MARKING
OPTIONS:  Decals included for 2 marking options.
          1: N22YX, YF-22 Early Flight Test Markings
          2: AF 87-701, post Air Force acceptance markings.
          Airframe Colours:
            1 & 2: Top: Gunship Grey (FS36118)/Neutral Grey (FS36270) camoflage
            Bottom: Lt Ghost Grey (FS36375)
          Detail colours:
            Flat: Black, White, Yellow, Olive Drab, Light Grey, Tan.
            Gloss Colours: Silver, Gun Metal, Red, Blue, White, Steel.

          Basic tools: Hobby knife, paint brushes, sandpaper.

            Major components - liquid plastic cement (Testors, TENAX 7R)
            Clear parts - White glue, odourless CA, or TENAX 7R
            Detail parts - CA or tube-type (thick) plastic cement.
