           This is a 1/48 Me163 Komet Plastic Model Aircraft Kit.

Based on a design concept by Alexander Lippisch, the Me163 Komet was one of the
  first tailless aircraft designs and also one of the earlies to incorporate
  substantial wing sweepback.  The Me163 first flew as a glider in 1941 but
  operational versions were powered by a Walther HWK rocket motor.  The
  Me163 wasused primarily to intercept daylight bomber formations.  Although
  the Me163 had some success the volatile combination of fuels made it a
  very unforgiving aircraft.

FEATURES: Detailed 1/72nd scale plastic kit for static display
          21 parts in light grey and clear with raised and recessed detail
          Cockpit detail includes: seat, pilot figure and instrument panel
            with decal panel and internal armoured glass plate
          Wing has separate dive flaps and ailerons
          Aircraft may be assembled to sit on its landing skid or it's
            2-wheel take-off dolly
