This is a Regular Smoke Pump that Adds Smoke Effects to R/C Airplanes.
This allows modelers to achieve realistic smoke results from any .40 to
giant scale plane quickly and easily. This unit only pumps the smoke oil to
a heating coil in the muffler, it does not heat the oil. This can be used as a
smoke system with gas or glow engines but CANNOT be used to pump raw gasoline.
FEATURES: Simple installation that requires NO complicated plumbing, soldering,
or wiring.
Does not require a servo or pushrods.
Does not even require a pressurized tank or crankcase pressure.
Pump plugs into a spare receiver channel, plus a built-in switch
provides ease of operation from your radio.
180 day warranty.
INCLUDES: One Self-Contained Unit with the Connectors For Futaba J, JR, HiTec S
and Airtronics Z Pre-Installed.
One Remote Pressure Adjustment Flow Valve
One T-Fitting (For Twin Cylinder Engines)
REQUIRES: Plugs into a spare channel on the receiver.
4.8 to 6 volt Receiver Battery
Smoke Oil (MDWP1000 is recommended by manufacturer)
Smoke fluid tank
Smoke muffler specifically designed for use with the modelers
engine (make and model are specific).
Silicone tubing (Between Check Valve and Muffler)(See COMMENTS)
COMMENTS: The difference between the regular smoke pump and the deluxe smoke
pump are that the deluxe comes with a check valve and 2-foot of
yellow tubing and the regular does not include these.
If using original Airtronics Connectors, they will need to be
Re-Wired to Z-Style Connectors so the polarity will be correct.
Tubing- Silicone tubing withstands high heat better and longer than Tygon
tubing, and Silicone Does Not Hold Up To Smoke Oil for extended
periods of time, so it will need to be replaced periodically.
Neoprene tubing is heat resistant and withstands smoke oil and
other petroleum based liquids. This would be a another alternative
to the Tygon tubing included compared to silicone tube.
Dubro manufactures neoprene tube of the correct size, use DUBQ0455
The booklet "Secret Smoke Success Tips" formerly included is now
available as a free Adobe Acrobat e-book download from the Tejera
Microsystems website that is readable on all popular operating
systems. Alternately the booklet is available on a CD directly
from Tejera Micro Systems.
