This is a 1/75 Scale Plastic Assembly Kit of the Ship "Pinta" from Heller.
The Pinta is famous as one of the ships in which Italian Chistopher
Columbus discovered the Americas in an attempt to find a new route to the Far
East. Columbus' ships the Santa Maria, Nina, and Pinta arrived in the Bahamas
on October 12, 1492 after a voyage of over 1 month.
FEATURES: Plastic kit for static display.
113 parts in white and brown plastic plus vacuum-formed sails.
Detailed hull and deck replicate the planking of the original.
Full mast detail with cross spars.
Deck detail includes hatches, bulkheads, vents, and lifeboats.
Includes a special frame type rigging machine and thin white thread
to make the ratlines and other rigging.
