This is a 1/400 Scale Plastic Assembly Kit of the WWII Pocket Battleship
"KM Admiral Graf Spee" from Heller.
The Graf Spee and her sister ships Lutzow and Admiral Scheer were designed
to get the maximum possible firepower in a ship of 10,000 tons - which was the
largest ship Germany was allowed to build. She was also unique in that she was
diesel powered and equipped with an early form of radar. The Graf Spee
operated in the South Atlantic from September through December 1939, when she
was cornered in Montevideo Harbour by the Royal Navy. Unable to escape, and
badly damaged, the Graf Spee was scuttled by her crew
