   This is a 1/12 Plastic Yamaha YZF-R1 Taira Racing Motorcycle from Tamiya.

     It is commonly held that long distance touring is only for massive, high
displacement motorcycles.  At the Milan show in September of 1997, Yamaha
shattered this myth with its YZF-R1.  The YZF-R1 has drawn worldwide attention
with its ability to nimbly round turn after turn at breathtaking speeds.

FEATURES: Plastic parts molded in silver and black.
          Unique shaped rear fender with a carbon pattern decal design.
          Highly detailed water cooled DOHC four cylinder engine.
          Solid rubberlike tires with exact tread pattern.
          Steerable front fork.
          Realistic brake and ignition lines.
          Small Phillips screwdriver included, as well as screws, and a spring.
          Waterslide decals.
          Detailed pictorial instructions in English and Japanese.

COMMENTS: Keep small pieces and sharp edges away from children ages 3 and
            under.  Recommended for ages 10 and over.
          Recommended paints are for adult modelers only.
          Care should be taken when using tools and modeling knives.
          Remove plating from areas to be cemented with a hobby knife.
