       This is the O.S. Max 1.60 FX High-Performance R/C Engine used for
                         Sport and Aerobatic Aircraft.
           This 1.60 FX is Designed to use a Muffler or Tuned Pipe.

FEATURES: One-piece crankcase
          Twin ball bearing-supported crankshaft
          Schnuerle porting (Schnuerle scavenging)
          Steel liner and ring with Aluminum piston
          Tall, squared heat sink head for added cooling
          Engineered for low fuel consumption and tight installations.
          Side exhaust with muffler with rotatable exhaust outlet. Wide wing-
            shaped exhaust port contributes to higher torque at lower rpm.
          Extra long crankshaft & jam nut w/prop washer to secure the propeller
          #60F Carburetor with remote needle mounted on the backplate of the
            engine (to keep fingers away from the spinning propeller).
            The remote needle valve can be mounted three ways: vertical,
            horizontal, and separate from the engine.

            smaller nut for APC props and 3/8-24 safety lock nut

REQUIRES: Fuel with 18% (minimum) lubricant content and 5% to 25% Nitromethane
            (Can be flown on FAI fuel, which is 0% Nitro)

COMMENTS: Recommended is a 450-550cc fuel tank which allows approximately
            10 to 12 minute flights.
          Locate the fuel tank so that the top of the tank is 5-10mm (1/4-3/8")
            above the level of the needle valve.
          A 1/16" wire (not included) can be used to extend the needle valve by
            inserting the wire into the pre-drilled hole on the end of needle
            valve and tightening it in place with the supplied set screw.
          Remote needle valve is held in place by a nut instead of screws.
          To use a Tru Turn spinner and an APC propeller, modeler will need
            the Tru Turn jam nut set TT-0378-A (not carried at this time).
