This is a 1/100 Scale Diecast Grumman E-2 Hawkeye Plane with Stand
from the Postage Stamp Planes series by Model Power.
Grumman worked closely with the Navy on AEW (Airborne Early Warning)
during World War II. Improved versions resulted in the Hawkeye in 1960.
This E-2 Hawkeye was used in the 1970s. Radar range was 230 miles. 374 mph was
top speed and wingspan was 81 feet.
FEATURES: Detailed diecast body is flat grey with black leading edges on wings
and tail, and black nose. Underside is white.
Clear plastic canopy.
Stars and bars on top and bottom of wings, stars and bars and NAVY on
each side of , 600 on each side of cockpit and NE 1227 on
each side of tail.
Turning black propellers with black spinners.
Recessed panel lines for realistic appearance.
Authentic scale detailing.
Includes a black plastic stand that features the name of the plane.
