This is a 1/48 Plastic F-86F Sabre "MIG Killer" Model Kit from Academy.
This Aircraft Kit is for Modelers Age 10 and Older.
The F-86 Sabre first flew on October 1, 1947, with intent for use as a
dive bomber or an escort fighter. The F-86 saw extensive use during the Korean
War, where it was matched up against the feared Soviet-designed MiG-15. It was
redesigned when combat pointed out the limited maneuverability. The new F-86
version regained control of the Korean skies and maintained an enormous
advantage over the MiG-15.
FEATURES: This F-86F Sabre is built from olive gray plastic pieces which are
molded to sprue trees.
The fine molding detail gives life to this plastic model.
The cockpit comes detailed with one pilot, and a clear plastic
canopy.
Three machine guns are mounted within the on the left side.
