"Fairey Swordfish In Action," Squadron/Signal Publications.
The TSR II was designated to carry torpedoes, bombs, depth charges, or
aerial mines, plus carry out dive-bombing attacks. It crashed while on a test
flight from the Torpedo Trials Unit at Gosport, England, February 1935.
However, the TSR II was rebuilt and flew the next year. For all intents and
purposes this aircraft became the Swordfish prototype.
