NOTES FROM OUR TECH DEPARTMENT

This is the O.S. Max 40-E Carburetor for the .50SX-H
                         Helicopter Engine.
This carburetor attaches to the engine and mixes the air and fuel
to the correct ratio and sends the mixture to the combustion chamber.

FEATURES: Two needle operation, mixture control screw and needle valve Rotor is extra long to clear airframe making linkage attachment easier. Completely assembled Rotary throttle operation

INCLUDES: One O.S. Max 40-E Carburetor for the .50SX-H Helicopter Engine with: One rubber O-ring

REQUIRES: Attaching to engine using Carb Retainer #23981700 (OSMG3644) and attaching fuel line. Small flat head screwdriver for adjusting the mixture control screw.

SPECS: Outer Mounting Diameter: 0.39" (10mm) Inner Throat Diameter: .031" (8mm) Height: 1.50" (38.2mm) JXS 12/14/01 ir/kh

COMMENTS: There is only one O-ring for the carb body. The O-ring for this is different than the one for the .46-FZ. The proper part number is OSMG6228, as this O-ring is slightly larger in diameter and a little thinner. The best way to insert the carb assembly is to place the brass insert about half way into the case, put the O-ring around the brass insert and press the carb down tight against the case. There will be a gap between the base of the carb, and the case, but the gap will be very small. You should only be able to see the black O-ring.
