      This is a 1/72 Scale King Tiger Tank Plastic Model Kit from Italeri.

     This vehicle was one of the most powerful battle tanks in service during
WWII.  The King Tiger was armed with a formidable 88mm cannon, which enabled
the tank to engage any allied tank even at long range.  Because of its heavy
armor, complex suspension systems and a complicated, maintenance-prone engine,
the tank was very non-reliable.
