This is the .46LA engine from O.S. Max designed for sport airplane use.
This is a non-ringed engine with a Two-Year Warranty.
This engine has a natural finish w/"O.S." & "46LA" on the side.


1-piece crankcase
Crankshaft is set in one long bronze Oilite bushing (no bearings)
Schnuerle porting (AKA Schnuerle scavenging)

The factory setting of the needle valves are as follows:
High speed needle: Turn all the way in and back out 2 turns.
Air Bleed screw: Turn all the way in and back out 2 turns.
The coverplate for the FX Series will NOT work on this engine.
