This is a 1/72 F/A Super Hornet Aircraft from Italeri.
Although it still looks like an F-18, the new F-18E fighter is an almost
totally new aircraft. The aircraft was developed following the failure and
cancellation of the A-12 and addresses the range and payload shortcomings of
the earlier F-18 models. The aircraft is not yet in service but will have a
useful life well into the next century.
