        This is a Radio Controlled, Glow Powered, Almost-Ready-to-Fly,
          Tower Hobbies Kaos 40 ARF Aerobatic .40 Sport Scale Airplane.
     Recommended for modelers who have had trainer airplane experience and
            also have safely flown/landed .40 size low wing planes.

FEATURES: Construction: all balsa and plywood.
          Wings: Fully-symmetrical airfoil, mid wing configuration.  Attached
            to fuselage with two ¼-20x2" nylon wing bolts.
          Covering: Factory applied heat shrink covering. Color scheme is Red
            and White separated by a Black and Yellow stripe.
          Radio Compartment: Easily accessible, plywood reinforced
          Canopy: Single, clear
          Landing Gear: .16" (4mm) thick pre-bent wire. Nose and main gear.
          Building Time: Ready to fly in only 10-12 hours
          Warranty Period: Tower Hobbies guarantees this kit free from defects
            in both material and workmanship at the date of purchase.
            This warranty does not cover any component parts damaged by use or
            modification.

INCLUDES: One Tower Hobbies Almost-Ready-To-Fly Kaos 40 Aerobatic Kit with
          Pre-built and covered wings, fuselage and tail assemblies, pushrods,
            pre-bent landing gear,  two 2.5" (64mm) main wheels, one 2.25"
            (57mm) nose wheel,  aluminum engine mount, wing bolts,
            10oz (300mm) fuel tank, spinner, wood servo trays and wing joiners,
            hardware package and photo-illustrated instructions.

REQUIRES: Engine: .40-.46 (6.5-7.5cc) 2-stroke or .48-.52 (4-stroke)
          Muffler: Sports-Style, included with engine
          Radio:   Four channel
          Servos:  Four standard (1-Aileron, 1-Elevator, 1-Throttle, 1-Rudder)
            (a high torque servo is suggested for the rudder, but not required)
          Misc. Items: Glow plug, ¼" foam rubber padding, medium fuel tubing,
            fuel filter, propeller, building and field equipment.

COMMENTS: The replacement canopy for the Kaos 40 kit will fit this model.
            It is available through Great Planes Manufacturing. The part
            number is CANPY001.
          This kit does not include Great Planes brand hardware as stated in
            the 2003 Tower Hobbies catalog.  The hardware is a high quality
            generic brand.

          If a replacement fuel tank is needed, order the Sullivan 10oz
            tank (SULQ1728), or the DuBro 10oz tank (DUBQ0210).
            Some minor trimming and modifications may be required.
